Describe where you found each part of your camera.
mode dial -The mode dial is located on the top of the camera on the right side, it is circular and next to the flash.
on/off - The on/off switch is also on the top right side of camera. It’s located where the shutter is.
shutter release - The shutter is on the top right side of camera where the on/off switch it.
exposure compensation - The exposure compensation is located, again, on the top right side of camera. There are two small buttons behind the shutter release, the one furthest to the right with the plus and minus signs is the button.
flash button -The flash button is on the left hand side of the camera. It is the small button below the flash, with a bolt/arrow symbol that is pointing down.
viewfinder - The viewfinder is located on the back face of the camera, above the screen. It is the small clear box that you look into to take your picture.
menu, multi selector/ok - This is the circular option on the right hand side of the screen on the back face of the camera. The OK is in the center of the menu selector, which has four arrow options on it.
memory card slot cover -This is on the right side of the camera, where you can slide forward to open and insert the memory card.
battery cover -The battery cover is on the bottom face of the camera on the right hand side. Like with the memory card slot, you slide to insert the battery.
tripod socket -The tripod socket is the silver circular indent located on the bottom face of the camera.

Delete all images on the camera - To delete all images, you go to MENU, then to PLAYBACK menu, press DELETE, and go to the bottom section and select ALL. Then you select YES.
Set the Image Quality to JPEG Fine -To set the Image Quality to JPEG Fine, you press MENU, then select SHOOTING MENU, then go to the IMAGE QUALITY option, and select JPEG Fine.
Set the Image Size to Large - You go to to MENU, then select SHOOTING MENU, and chose the IMAGE SIZE option, and select LARGE.
Set the Mode dial to Auto - You use the MODE DIAL on the top of the camera, and switch the selection to AUTO with the green camera.
Turn the auto Flash Off - To turn the flash OFF, you hold the FLASH BUTTON and twist the COMMAND DIAL until the screen shows a symbol with a line through the flash.
Set exposure compensation to +/- 0 - To set to +/- 0, you have to switch to APERTURE mode first, and hold down the EXPOSURE COMPENSATION button while using the COMMAND DIAL to fix the exposure level.
Check battery charge. If 1 bar or less replace battery - To check the BATTERY , you look at the screen and check the battery sign.
Set the lens to A -You use the A/M button and slide to A which is on the left side of the camera.
