2. Go to the Library of Congress and select an image from one of the galleries to colorize. Select an image that has both a portrait and either a landscape or interior. For each main area to be colorized use a different selection method and label the layer with the selection type.
3. At home, find an old family photo that is need of restoration. Scan the image at home if you have a scanner, otherwise bring in the image and we will scan it here at school. Scan the image at 600 dpi. Then use the restoration and hand coloring techniques to bring the old photo back to life.
